Auction - Anyone want a mercedes ?

Autographed Mets and Giants memorabilia and a Mercedes sedan will be among the items for sale at the first public auction of Agape World's property, the attorney overseeing the alleged Ponzi scheme's bankruptcy said Sunday.

The company's president, Nicholas Cosmo, kept items signed by former Giants star Michael Strahan and by unidentified Mets players in a display case in his office, said bankruptcy trustee Kenneth Silverman.

The company also leased a 2007 Mercedes-Benz S550 for Cosmo's personal use, Silverman said.

The sports memorabilia will be sold 11 a.m. on March 31 at Agape World's headquarters at 150 Motor Pkwy. in Hauppauge, along with more pedestrian items such as office supplies, furniture and fixtures found in the company's three offices on Long Island and Queens.

The Mercedes will be sold 10:30 a.m. on April 7 in a separate auction at the Plainview location of the proposed auctioneer, David R. Maltz & Co.
